You might try looking at the Giotto 1000...its rated at 22 lbs and costs about $90 to $109 (w/o quick release) on line..add a quick release mount of your choice, and you should be in the $150 range.

I own two non-metered Autocords and currently primarily shoot TMAX100..I have never observed the affect you descibe...keep us posted if you find the cause.

I'm looking for a tripod for travel that weighs about 4 lbs or less, folds to about 20 inches or less, is rated at about 10 lbs or so, and costs $200 or less. I've used the Bogen 3001 and its agequate when using my MF SLR and TLR waist level finders, but I find it a bit short then using my Nikons (I'm 6'1"). The Gitzo G201 looks interesting, in that it has a higher weight rating and extends a bit higher, but I can find no information on its maximum height with center column not extended. Does anyone have any experience with the Gitzo as compared the Bogen, or have other suggestions with meet my criteria. Thanks,

Could also be a touch of lense fungus....only way to be sure is to get it in for a CLA, which is a good idea in any case.

Some of Voightlanderstake interchangable lenses but do not have interchangable backs..from what I've read some of lenses are quite good.

I believe conversion would be more trouble than its worth...there is,however, a TTL Chimney meter/finder for the S2A that you can still find for sale complete with black leather case and IB for about $200...I own one and its somewhat awkward to set up and use, but seems to work fine once its set up and adjusted...IMHP purchasing a good hand held meter would be a better investment.

I've been shooting TMax 100 thru my S2A for the last year or so with no problem...

Looking for square lense shade for Bronica S2A 50mm Nikkor-H lense with 82mm screw mount.

Any Bay 1 filters will work...eBay is a good source for these...try an eBay search for Autocord, Rollei, Yashica, TTL etc...camera case as well as other accessories are also readily available from anyone of several online mail order houses, as well as eBay...Craigs Camera (www.craigscamera.com) is a good source for instruction books..

Looking for original square metal lense shade for Bronica S2A 50mm Nikkor-H (82mm thread size) lense shade in good condition.

Looking for 50mm Nikkor 3.5 "H", "O", or Nikkor 2.8 with front and rear caps and in very good condition..I would consider 40mm Nikkor in same condition.

Looking for 50mm f/3.5 Nikkor-H, Nikkor-O, or Nikkor f/2.8 in E+ condition with front and rear caps.

I use a Bronica S2A (which has no mirror lock up), same tripod, Bogen Super Ball head,and telephoto lenses in the 200-400mm range without and appparent blur...are you using a cable release?

Anyone have any experience or comments regarding the TTL meter for the Broniica S2A??
<p>
My S2A came with the standard 75mm 2.8 Nikkor-P lens. Based upon feedback and recommendations within this and others I recently purchases a 80mm 2.4 Zen MC. I have had a chance to run much film thru the camera with this lense yet, so have not yet formed a comparative opinion with regard to these lenses. Any experienced opinions or other feedback would be appreciated.

I currently trying to research which 50mm lense to buy for this camera and have found little comparative discussion about the various 50mm options (Nikkor-H 3.5, Nikkor-O 3.5, Nikkor 2.8,etc.)...any discussion and/or advice would be welcome.

I have recently decided to aquire a 50mm wide angle lense for my S2A....any recommendation?
-
Yes..both tele and wide attachments are made to fit Bay I TTL's..uses sets are commonly for sale on photo.net, eBay, or KEH...
-
I've read elsewhere that this was true of early Tmax100,which was thicker than current production runs of this film.

Have you tried the Rollei homepage (http://www.rolleifoto.com)or the
unofficial Rollei webpage (http://www.vestdata.no/~taase/Rollei.html)?

Check Craig Camera at www.craigcamera.com...he carries the best assortment of old manuals
that I know of on line...you may find something there

I recently purchased a set of Rollei Bay 1 (28.5) filters for my
Minolta Autocord, which included a large Rollei leather filter case.
There were three filters (?) included in the set the function and
purpose of which is unclear. I would be grateful if someone could
e-mail me with info. A description of each is given below;
<p>
Rolleiparkeil 1 (?)
Rolleinar 1 (half of close up set?)
Rollei-Duto 0 (difuser?)
<p>
Thanks
