Hi Matt,

Sorry my fault...I`m running Windows Vista on an Acer Laptop.

Hi,

I use a laptop to edit my photos with Lightroom 3 and CS4.
For storage I have got a 1TB Hard Drive which I lug around with another 1TB External Hard Drive at home that I use as a backup. The two Hard Drives are a mirror image of each other.
My question is, is there a sort of program that once I get home, I connect the two Hard Drives with the laptop and the changes I made on one hard drive is automatically done to the other hard drive?
I know that the ideal setup would be a RAID system but I havent got one.
Thanks

Hi,
My current camera gear is a Nikon D200, a Nikkor 70-300mm AF G lens and Nikon 50mm f1.8.
While I`m really happy with the 50mm I can`t say so for the 70-300mm G. It is very soft even in good light and am really getting frustrated using this lens.
My budget wont strech to a 70-200mm f2.8, so I was wondering if upgrading to 70-300mm VR version would give me better sharpness.
I have read the reviews, but I was wondering if someone here has this lens and what advice would you give?
Thanks in advance

I own and use a D200 and unless it breaks ill keep on using it..I prefer to spend my cash on fast lenses. Eventually I'll upgrade the body but by then it will be a D500, or whatever they will call it

Hi all,
First of all thanks to those that commented on my photo.
Every Wednesday I see the bar raised, here are some of the photos that caught my eye..
Benjamin Schaefer...excellent portrait
Matt Laur...nice b&w
Dieter Schaefer...wow
Brandon Wu...really like the kind of steamy atomsphere
Tiffany Brook..excellent tones..nice lighting..excellent pose..my favorite photo this week
Kevin Cassar...nice portrait..excellent colours and DOF..keep it up and H'Birthday Nathan
Robert Cooper...Right out of an Aliens movie
Evan..I used a single SB600 to the right and up of my daughter, and a reflector on the left side and down to fill in the eyes and shadows. This photo was taken after my daughter came from a party where they had face painting done on them, she was tired and I only took 4 shots before she got really bored. I really had no time to setup this shoot and plan..in hindsight I should have diffused the SB 600 and made more fill..also the pose could be better, her eyes could be more engaging but thats all I had to work with and I took my shot.

Jose's reflection
Jeff Lipsman Tuscanny sunrise
Evan Browning's Martín Ferres of Bajofondo
I think that since photographers from all over the world post in this forum, it will be nice to tell from which country we come from....I'm from Malta (Europe)
Eric....the photo was taken during a Medieval reenactment, while every photographer was concentrating on taking a photo of the mans's face, I concentrated on the hands and chains.
Yes I did darken the left hand side so that the eye would be drawn to the man...Your photo looks fine on my calibrated laptop, B&W with brown/reddish tones...very beautiful light and texture
