1.
i'm about to look for an M6 on ebay, but i saw there are two types of viewfinders: the 0.72 and the 0.85. the latter one seems of course more confortable to use, but apparently it doesn't work well with certain lenses such as the 28mm...am a bit confused now...
could anyone familiar with this issue make some comment or give some advice? would be most appreciated... thanks

 2.
I already have a compact digital camera and i wonder if it's worth buying a DSLR --since i have plenty of nikon lenses i thought about the D700 to keep the full scale with the lenses...
But i also wonder: is the money worth it? Now there are compact cameras or even digital camcorders that allow both pictures AND movies for less money. Any advice?

 3.
thanks for the contributions so far.
just a small precision: the 28-105 lens is indeed the AF f4.5-4.5. The other one is a AF 28-100 f3.5-5.6 G (the "G" is the model without the fstop ring you can use only with autofocus cameras). I just wondered if the second one is any good or not.

 4.
Hi
I own a nikon N80 and i wonder which lens is best: a good old nikkor AFS 28-105 or a nikkor G 28-100? i know the G serie is more recent but it's looks all plastic and I wonder if the older AFS aren't still better.
any opinion?

 5.
Hi
A friend gave me his used contax t3, which seems to work well except for one thing: the lens cap never completely closes. In reality it's not one single lens cap, it's 4 different elements that open and close automatically over the lens. Well, one of them remains kind of stuck on the side, leaving the lens partly unprotected. It's not a big structural problem but it disturbs me...
Any idea if this is easy to fix?

 6.
any explanation to the following problem?:
I took analog color pictures of the car traffic on streets at night (pictures of the back of the cars, meaning many red dots in the lower half of the picture). when i printed the pictures I realised that there were red dots "in the sky" corresponding to some of the red lights of the cars on the street..it's not a problem of printing, the dots a really ON the film..
any scientific explanation? can it be reflected by the filter that I had on my lens?
i checked the camera (nikon F3), the lens (nikkor AFD, 50mm, f1.8) and the filter (a clean UV filter), they are in good condition and I don't have any problem with photos taken in daylight...
