It's easy to write a Python script that to do that in Paintshop Pro Photo. That's one of the great features of Paintshop.

I didn't see the second photo when I responded. Now I see the "white" button.... I think that's a battery check.

I think that button releases the locking pins that hold the finder on the camera body. Later models replaced the button with a lever. I used a Nikon FTn back in the day, the one I had used a lever to release the finder. I would like someone else to confirm my memory.

I'm in my eighth season coaching Special Olympics. I would love to travel around the country (and to several other countries) to illustrate how the Special Olympics program helps to improve the lives of so many individuals with intellectual disabilities. I would then do an exhibit and book with a significant portion of the proceeds going to Special Olympics.

That sounds like the Vivitar T-mount adapter for Pentax screw-mount cameras. While the 42mm diameter makes it look like a Leica thread, it has a different thread pitch. Wikipedia has a description of the T-mount...

Consider using a film-based pinhole....
In this case, the pinhole is not a hole, but a very small clear spot in a opaque film. I have one and it works well. You can always make your own pinhole from an EOS body cap. The use gaffer tape to secure a UV filter in front of the pinhole.
Good luck.
