  1. <p>I am a big fan of dialog with my subjects to get the mood / reflection that I am looking for for every image. As to what to ask the subject, this comes easier if you take 15-20 minutes to start building a relationship before the subject gets infront of the camera. With me, the conversation never stops, I just trasnsition into the camera room, while talking.     <p dir="ltr" align="left">While it is certainly true that "Free" attracts customers, not all business is good business. I would be afraid that you will attract a lot of customers that you don't want as a repeat.</p>

    <p dir="ltr" align="left">The seminar is right, "word of mouth" can't be beat. I would be interested to see how this venture turns out.</p>

    <p dir="ltr" align="left">As a counter suggestion, try doing some volunteer portraits for a charity event. Here you are donating your work, but gaining a tax advantage, and creating a marketing list.</p>
