is composition ok... is lighting ok.. have I captured mist?

I'd appreciate any comments

maybe slightly too red but this is of little consequence. The skin tone and texture of the skin and look of the face tells a story

Agree powerful ...your whole series of portraits in new guinea all draw you in to the lives of another people. The technical stuff is great as well but who cares about that when the images speak so loudly for themselves

Where was it taken and what was the history....eyes looking away from that side of the photo make you wonder what he is looking at so well composed

probably notice a bit of photoshop to bring up the lighthouse and darken the

Did you dodge the tree? The effect is very evocative. The purple of the sky around the tree makes it stand out. You must have used a marquee tool? Well compositioned tree as well.
