Amber - First attempt in Portrait 4 Posted October 6, 2009 This is my first attempt at a bust shot. I had an AB400 w/large octobox on camera right, and a large gold/silver weave fill reflector on camera left. This is a local girl who is trying to get her start at modeling. We decided to work together and do some photos (since im also trying to get my start in photography). I shot her at her house, which only had yellow walls. I attempted to make the background white, but as you can see i missed a few little spots (work in progress). My main goal was to get a really sharp photo of her, and do subtle retouches without being obvious about it. This is also my first experience with shooting RAW. Im overall pleased with how it looks, but i know it could be better. Please pick it apart. Nikon D90 with Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
