This makes me believe I'm viewing the earth before humans arrived on the scene. Great shot.

Fantastic image. Very unusual combination of colors that look great.

Fantastic! I love it!

Great shot. It really shows the power of the ocean, and I like the light rays coming down.

HI Brice. This is an interesting concept, but the flowers have a "pasted in" look (photoshoped?). I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve. I would go for a more abstract look with this image. Good masking technique however, the flower edges look clean and you retained all the fine hairs on the stems.

Beautiful image, but the scan quality leaves a lot to be desired. You need to rescan (preferably from the original negative or slide) and properly set the black point and contrast. Also crop off the edge of the print.

Compositionally superb. I really like how the small leaf and vine provides additional delicate elements that compliment the butterfly. Nice soothing background and good lighting too.

I love the color in this image. Fantastic. Good detail and composition as well.

Nice image Janis. I would like to have seen the highlights tamed a bit in the yellow petals. Sometimes it's hard to avoid highlight loss with digital cameras, so as a precaution I shoot regularly at -1/3 to -1/2 stop. I then attempt to extract lost detail from the shadows during post processing if necessary. I shoot a Nikon D90 which has a tendency to overcook highlight detail. You can also bracket and pick the best one.

This looks like it could be on another planet. I like it!

I really like the motion blur in selective areas of the image, while other areas are sharp. Nice capture.

Wow! I actually felt dizzy when this image came up on my computer screen. Very vivid and full of motion. Great shot.

Good image Harry. I think another good title for this image would be "High 5".

Excellent image. Very strong graphical elements and superb lighting.

Good shot Oguz. My one suggestion would be that the lighting seems a bit dull and color balance may be a bit blue or cyan (shot in overcast conditions?). I like the pose captured in the shot, he's definitely been busy making his hands dirty.

Jerry,
I think this is one of the most original bird shots I've ever seen. This is good news since bird photography for me can get old and worn out very quickly, especially when its just one straight portrait shot after another. Great creativity.

Photo.net continues to be the number one source for amazing macro work. I almost jumped out of my chair when this one popped up. Absolutely incredible.
