Comments much appreciated, thanks!

Taken from the front of the driverless train, hand-held using a rather poor camera... then colour, brightness and contrast altered using Gimp. Comments much appreciated!

Thank you very much! I love your portfolio especially your 'Wasteland' series, the photos of your home town and your B&W of Roma.

Beautiful

Inspirational. Colours are stunning and the diagonal of the flame is perfect.

Wonderful composition, colours and curves!

Comments and critique much appreciated. Many thanks!

Many thanks for your comments! Now you mention it, I agree that it could be toned down. Looking again, the white reflected wall in the clear window pane on the left hand side is also distracting...

The famous roof of Museu de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya, a
former textile mill in Terrassa, Spain.

Thank you Vincent - this was very much "off the cuff" and I was surprised by how well it came out. I liked the diagonals of the handrails leading to her face.

Wow. When I was last in Dresden the Frauenkirche was a pile of rubble, I must try and find the photos of 1994 - and find time to revisit! Great picture, nice light and lovely sweep of the Elbe.

Wonderful. Agree entirely with the previous comment. I particularly like the multi-coloured cobbles.

Many thanks all for your kind comments. It perhaps helped that the day was quite overcast so contrast was less of an issue than if it had been bright and sunny.

Watch out O. Winston Link!

Great picture, and well worth all the trouble!

Magnifique... une belle atmosphère.

I like aspects of this very much - the reflection in the water course leading to the subject (the flour mill), the snow on the trees and the aesthetics of the building itself. I also like the muted colours. My own personal choice would be to come closer and focus on the building, or to step back and place it in its landscape.

Any comments or observations would be very welcome. Thanks!

After a short but intense rainstorm the sun flickered through for a
brief moment to light up the buildings of this seed processing factory
in southern France. Many thanks for your comments and constructive
critique.

A very arresting image, I like the punchy contrast.
