Great shot, the tight frame really works and you've captured a great expression. -
Beautiful muted colours in this shot, great eye contact and detail - however I would lighten up the eye area as it is the main point of focus but is a little dark. -
Some thoughts on this please. -

I think this is a pretty good shot. I perhaps would have waited for the younger Gorilla to raise her head and capture a moment of interaction between the two. The expression of the larger female is good but not as intense as it could be.
Exposure is good but the lighting is a little dull.
