  1. <p>I have to agree with Sarah that for MOST people, something like smugmug or zenfolio isn't going to sell fine art unless you have a popular blog or web presence that is driving people do it. Most of the general public would not even consider going to them to find a print.<br>

    All my random sales have been off Redbubble - which is similar to the others but it has a COMMUNITY. I sincerely doubt most people would get lots of sales, but you do get semi-regular random ones.<br>

    So if you're going to choose a site because you want to SELL, I would go with a site that already has a community.</p>

    People who care a lot about knowing just how much an image was altered in photoshop must place more emphasis than most on the skill of the actual photographer and/or how close the photo is to reality.<br>

    It's almost like, a photograph is worth more if it was 'harder' to achieve - yet there are plenty of quick snaps/street photography and so on that capture something amazing, but took little effort on the part of the photographer other than the basics.</p>
