    It looks like the image suffer from camera shakes. If it wasn't than I would probably suggest for you to wait for some dramatic light to enter the scene and gives a sense of rhythm to the pipes.

    Nice moment. My only gripes is the blurred background. The expression of the people faces in the balcony could add depth to the picture. But I'm a sucker for deep focus anyway. :)

    It's a good first effort. As a whole, I really enjoy the mood it suggest. You might want to try taking long exposure of a more complex composition for your next experiment, combining static and dynamic element in your picture.
