i really like the tone of the image, particularly the eyes, with their intensity, desaturation and the across the nose look. i'm wondering if the backlight on her neck and hair might be a little too hot. i find that her right hand is drawing my eye a lot as well. there seems to be a little maybe vein pattern or discoloration on her right breast right near her armpit.

i hope i'm not being too harsh, but this is my first critique so i'm not sure how nitpicky we're supposed to be. but the advice/critique is easily dismissed, especially in light of how great a photograph i think this is in general.

but beyond this, and remembering that this is my first critique, i'm trying to figure out your lighting, which i feel is great. I'm not sure if it is a faux pas to ask about your lighting setup here, just to know and maybe pick up some tips. if that is acceptable, i'd love to know, but if not, i think that the image is great, and forced to nitpick, found the above.

the sky in your photography looks like a painting. absolutey fantastic. i can't imagine how this would look under a correct white balance, but the effect achieved here is, to me, very nice. I see no need to 'correct' the white balance unless that look is the look you desire in this photograph. I was wondering about how much foreground lead of the crenelations was perhaps too much and blocked black, but i think the change in angle and the compression from the distance really suits it well. Just my thoughts, but i really enjoy your photograph.

and who said you couldn't use a DX lense on an FX body. this is why canon should allow EF-S onto EF bodies.

i think that the picture is nice but i cannot really enjoy it as i think that vignette is just obstructive.

did you crop down very much to this composition? and also, was is shot at a high iso? Because there's is noise and and rough quality that seems here to work very well. The leg off to the right is not sharp, or even just out of focus. it has a crudeness that really contributes to the image in my opinion. nicely done
