<p>Les, I discovered this SPIRIT OF CRITIQUE because you stop by one of my Images POINT AND SHOT and just mention the canon shudder, but nothing about my image. I am 61 years old and obssesed with photography since my 20's, but pick up my first SLR, canon 40D July 1 2008. I am taking a course and learning every day. Still strugglying with the mechanics of the 40D and shotting daily. I have a friend that introduce me to PN and helps me out a lot. I truely thank every one that contribute here, it has lots of good information I will use. Thank you Mark for starting this discussion.</p>

<p>Vladimir I have a 40D and I do need more practice. I am having a big problem obtaining sharp images. I'm practicing at all times but my progress is very slow. I am new at DSLR and never had any SLR until July 1 2008 when I get my 40D. How did you progressed? I'm taking the NYI course and I have a friend that is a great photographer. I am 60, but I am determine to keep progressing. Any suggestions will be appreciated.</p>
