Enjoy your conjugal bliss.

Wait, wait, wait...

Nothing beats this combo: 35mm on one body (FF) and 85 mm on another. I sold 135mm f2 as I found it too long.

-

When shooting events indoors, I use the M-mode and set everything - ISO, aperture and speed. With my primes (35mmL, 85mmL), I rarely go above ISO 1600 on my 5DII.

-

5DII and 85mm L is the best combo. Go for FF.

35mm 1.4.

I secretly wish for what I don't have...

Your bag is already crowded and why do you need more? All your focal lengths are covered. In fact, dump 135 mm and start enjoying your photography to hone your skills.

Nothing. I want Canon to announce 14-24mm, and 135mm IS /135mm 1.8.

-

It is pathetic. Sorry to know about your loss.

35mmL and 70-200mm 2.8II.

Sony VAIO 13.1" Intel Core i5 520M Processor 2.4GHz Laptop is one of the best. It has 250 solid state drive, 1600x900 resolution and up to 7 hours of battery life. It weighs just about three pounds.

Daniel, you have put me too in two minds. I use 35mmL, 85mm 1.2II and 200mm 1.8, and am thinking of adding 70-200mm II. Yes, a zoom is only a zoom.

16-35mm, 24-70mm and 85mm 1.8.

Juan, just buy it. Even if 5DIII comes tomorrow, Mark II will still remain a great camera. Canon may not release 5DIII this year. Even if it is released, it will not be available for months and then it will be much higher price.

-

5DII. Period.

-

On FF, 35mm 1.4L is probably the best walk-around lens.

-

Marry 5D with 35mm 1.4 L and you will be very very happy.

-

You can also look at Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 as a very cheap alternative. It is a pretty decent lens for its price.

-

Tamron 17-35mm 2.8, Sigma 50mm 1.4 and 70-200mm f4.

-

But I bought my first lens from China (Nikon 28-200mm) on ebay and it was a cool deal. I paid about $350 for the lens and about $30 in customs or whatever.

Michael Chadwick, you are totally off your rocker when you say that MacBook stinks. Use one and then talk. Till now I was using HP Pavilion dv9000, and have now shifted to Mac. I couldn't be happier. Everyone knows about heating issues with HP laptops.
