Is easy if the price of the Mark II is going down is because the next one is close to the shops....

Don’t forget the human factor, movies what you said real movies need editing and time to do it and to watch it so. The regular camcorders fail for that reason and make short movies is fun too, someone here never saw something in youtube?
The other features that Bob writes above, is something nice to have, looks like we are moving to a camera “all inclusive” lets see when we arrive there…..

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The main products are boxes with a product inside).
I know that for each product I need a specific lighting, if it reflect the light or if is jewlery (I don't make clothing).
Most of the prducts are small gift things.

Hello all
I am starting to get some work for commercial photography (all kind products)
Someone can recommend the minimum set up for it?
For the moment I use a white cube with standard light (a couple of reflectors)
but looks like I will receive more work so I need something more professional
that give me more flexibility.
My second question is if some one knows where to buy used equipment in Montreal.
Thanks for your help

Andy.
Thanks for your comments, the process you describe is the process you can find in the manual. I follow it step by step and I downloaded the file from the same site as you did.
As I write in one of the post are a small difference between the file size you downloaded and the size describe in the manual
The extract is:
"The firmware update file "20d00203.fir" will take up 8.09MB (8,493,110bytes) of disk space when created.
You can confirm this by right-clicking the icon and selecting the Properties command from the pop-up menu that appears.
If the file size differs from the above, please download the file again from the Web site. Also, firmware updating service is provided free of charge at Canon Service Centers."
The size of the download is 8,656,576.
Could be the size that cause the problem?

As you see from the manual the file need to be in the root directory (and didn't work in this way).
I sent the question to Canon too.
BTW I have a 20d.

Yes I follow the manual step by step but now I check that the size of the file from download is not the same as you see in the manual....

I did it and follow them step by step and allways receive the same message. BTW the site from where I downloaded was http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/eos20d/eos20d_firmware-e.html

Upgrade dilemma 6D Vs 5D Mark II
in Canon EOS Mount
Posted

After wait for an update of the 7d and save money, finally Canon unveiled the 6D.
Now my dilemma after read the specs is why to buy this new canon when the 5 D mark II have almost the same features (and right now in B&H $200 less than the 6D). May be will be good to wait a little more?
Thanks for your help
