Dramatic scene in Lofoten on the coast with ever changing light and sea

movement, cloud formation changes within minutes to form new

wonders of nature, I try to cature differnt moods with these scenes.

Lovely colour and detail, would love to see this in a larger format, very nice posture.

Simple and very pleasing, great DOF and nice clean background.

Have been a member for one week now and love this site, many thanks

to all who have already welcomed me and made comments, I have

started to upload some more photographs and welcome any comments

good or bad for improving my work, feeling my way around the site and

Not easy to get a difused background but think the colour of the

background adds to the overall flavour of the photo.

Many thanks Sandra, yes a frame does make a difference, I have used Nikon Capture NX2 and lightened the outer endges in the pre processing which I thought might highlight the dragonfly more.

Trying new techniques with natural light and flash to get a more difused

backlight.

Love this image for me 7/7, lovely composition.

Interesting posture these two are in, used a 70-300 VR at 300mm rather

than getting too close with a macro lens.

New interest in bird photography in both flight and stills, tried here to

create a phot showing the Curlew in its natural environment
