Thanks for your comment - you're absolutely right, the sky is a catastrophy, but I think a ND-filter would have darken the stones too much (and probably wouldn't make the sky look even better, just darker grey, haha...). The problem was an abolutely no-go flat light-grey sky and the very dark "arena" with the waterfall and dark stones in it. I tried to minimize the sky on the capture as much as possible, but I think this is a lighting situation that is hard to control (at least in one capture, probably an exposure blending / HDR would have been the right thing to do here, but at that time I had only an analog camera with me).
