Good picture needs not to necessarily aestethically pleasing. It's not a grasshopper picture. It's well done candid with strong content, technically perfect. The BW manipulation is inobrtrusive and works here.

Sorry, but this doesn't look to mee as 105mm lens @f/5.6 perspective and with ISO 400 film you will be over 1/2000 sec - top speed of Eos 300V shutter considering f/16 rule. Are you sure your "details" are correct ?

Each time I see shot, I try to guess film - this time I was WAY off. I guessed reala. Must have been pretty overcast, wasn't ?

Washed out sky, subject to small. Come there at dusk and do 10 seconds exposure. River become silky smooth, empty space will become filled by ligh reflections and sky deep blue..

Well, it is small pic - but where is grain ? Looks like Tri-X works really well with rodinal. I was doing TMAX-400@800 in ID-11 and have more grainy result - how it comes ?
