Shutter: $230. I had one crap out at 1500
clicks. If you don't replace it, the camera is
worth nothing!

I always found that the in-camera noise
reduction slowed my fps dramatically.

With our area being somewhat between seasons (the birds are gone and the leaves are still green), I haven't been able to take any shots this week that I consider worty of posting. That being said, here is an offering of a migration shot taken during the first week of september here in Allentown. Hopefully I fare better with subject material in the coming week, Mark

Anyone else interested in this remote shutter release ( for multiple camera models)?

I was skeptical of the Vello brand myself. I
bought a wireless trigger for my Canon 50D
which also does not offer IR. I could not be
happier with the build quality and function
especially for the price. Being able to fire my
shutter without wires and line of sight is all
new to me and I love it. As for the
instructions booklet, I was expecting to see
poorly drawn sketches and broken English
translations. I could not be happier, they
explain all functions in detail and it is very
easy to understand. The fact that BH is
carrying them made me feel a lot mote
comfortable, they are the only company I
trust. If they can make this work with Canon
cameras, Olympus should be no issue either.
