<p>The best lenses to travel would be Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 and Canon 70-200 f/4L IS. Both have high IQ and IS. If you want to go with one lens: then Canon 24-105mm or Canon 28-135mm. But you will not get the wide angle.</p>
