Great image... very unique.

I really like this image.  The wear on the fuselage gives the plane that “lived in look”.  What a thrill it must be piloting this aircraft.

I agree with everyone else here… fantastic photo.

What a kick it must have been for you to get this photo.  Being a sportsman myself I know this kind of opportunity is special, even when you’re in the field time and again.

You’re always such a flirt Meir.  Even after a long day of sightseeing these women are more than happy to stop what they are doing and let you take a few photos.  I envy the knack you have for street photography.

This bird of prey took up residence along a stretch of road close to my

home and used the irrigation system as a perch to hunt the ditch and

tall grass of an adjacent field. It broke my heart when I saw its body

lying near the spot where this photo was taken just a few weeks later.

A victim of a car strike I imagine.

I suppose it boils down to one thing Lombard… Do you wish the viewers of this image to see only the man playing bagpipes or… a man in a parade playing bagpipes? I guess it’s just hard for me to discern the people in the background of this photo as “distractions”. They’re an important part of the story to me.

As far as someone disliking HDR goes… most people are completely oblivious to the fact that an ever-increasing number of the images they see everyday are in fact HDR. Apparently, even while they’re stumbling around in the digital alterations forum!

Normally I would think this is a little busy (with the crowd) but the narrative reflected by this image clearly shows some sort of parade. Good HDR as well.

The boats curves are a nice visual compliment for an interesting subject.

I suppose reading the sign is about all the fun one could have in this park!

3 image HDR plus large aperture for the out of focus affect. No software modifications beyond that accept levels and color adjustments.

This shot would be right at home in a Martin guitars catalog.
