    Sergio and Gregory: Thanks for your constructive comments.

    The eyes are as you both say de-saturated and low in contrast. I wanted them to appear "dead "when the face was removed and the mask revealed.

    Your comments show me that that part of my idea did not work and I will create a version that has normal eyes.
