portfolio actually has some substance. At this point I've now covered five

weddings, four on my own and one as a second shooter. I'm just

curious to see what others on this site think of some of the work I've

done up to this point. This shot specifically is one of my favorite bridal

portraits. I'm looking forward to everyone's feedback!

Just kind of curious what people think of this shot. I worked with a local

photographer over the weekend as a second shooter/assistant at a

wedding (my second), and captured this candid as the bride had just

finished getting ready. I realize it's not necessarily the best composition

and there are some background distractions, but it's still my favorite

shot of the day. I took plenty of photos I feel are technically better, but

what I love about this one is the contrast between the bridesmaid who

seems very focused on getting to the door and the bride's mother behind

her on the cell phone as opposed to the bride, whose joyful expression

makes her almost seem aloof to the world around her. Or am I just

seeing things?
