I have 20 years of Marketing and Financial Planning experience. Amateur shots and a few classes. How can I get a job or internship as an "apprentice" for a wedding photographer? Is the best route to take workshops, or put together a portfolio and just start interning?

thanks; ANN

Jena Olson from Wisconsin. I spent 20 years plus 8 years of college for the financial field. Now I am going back to what I love. Photography. Don't make my mistake. Selling your soul is a hard place to get out of. ANN

I am an amateur wanting to slowly move in to building a clientelle. I want to do a high end "party" photo service. Taking pictures of events, charitable functions, cocktail parties, etc. Options for sales as i see them are : Sell photos to local social magazine(s) on who is out and about town. Sell Prints to people in photos or I am paid a fee to shoot the cocktail party and prints go to the host(ess). What are my Legal Issues? As well as any guidance you have on this idea. THANK YOU............ANN HODGE

Who uses 8MM in marketing images to clients? I fell in love with a site I can't find. A photographer in Rhode Island (I think), gave some advice on stock photos and looked at his site and I saw that he uses 8mm beautifully for weddings. Anyone know of him? Name? Help Please.
