I was eventually able to view your portfolio. I like a lot this pic; the idea and composition are nice. It tells a lot about the girl and about the photographer as well :)

What could I say about the technical side? I am not an expert at all, but I would still like to help by giving my humble opinion... So, the photo seems to me a bit too blurred; why not try to sharpen it? you may also lower a little the 'color temperature' , and of course a nice frame would help a lot!

I dared to edit it as it sounded to me, just in order for you to see whether you find the changes useful. I'll send you my variant.

I know how hard it can actually be to capture the moment when the animal looks exactly into your camera. And you did it wonderfully: curiosity, intelligence, amazement - its eyes are so expressive!
