<p>I was at the local store this weekend looking at both of these P&S. I went with the Canon and here's why. It focused a lot faster then the Nikon. Shooting from the same spot within the store on the same subject, same light, the Nikon would not focus. I thought the IQ was better on the canon also, and the best part, my wife loves the camera.</p>

<p>YN465 works pretty well with the Nikon, at least it does with my D80. Its not a SB-***, but it does work. Its only $60 on that auction site. If you get one, then once you do get a SB-***, you'll have your seconf flash for somestrobist work. Just my .02. I have one and am satisfied with it for now.</p>

<p>I am planning on buying am 80-200mm 2.8 for doing High school sports and some other general Photogstuff. These are the 2 lenses I am looking at. Is the Mikon worth the extra $300?<br>

Monika, I'm not sure what I did with that photo either. I uploaded the post processed one and not the original.<br>
William, that one looks good.<br>
Question though, when I take a shotlike this, with snow in the front, should I meter off the snow and under expose abit with several shots?<br>
I am just learning the post process stuff, Im using lightroom 2</p>
