Thanks Jorge, good idea. I tend to try and crop/shoot to the aspect ratio I am using ... going square does work too, nice one!!!

Great eye contact and facial detail, but the cut out around the bird [to blur the bgnd further] is a little rough in areas and could do with being improved.

Cheers all for your time. The composition was the best I could achieve as to the right was the harsh sun rising which would caused some flare issues and to the left the landscape becomes quite bare by comparison and the stone cairn would be too close to the edge for me ... so it's a small compromise that I am happy with.

Thanks for the honesty though.
