1.
Hi everyone,
I will like to know, when you are doing photos for you or someone, how important is for you give a documentation:
Like Place, get information of the subject, circumstances, condition of light, descriptions, right of the photos, ... and other.
Are you doing this documentation immediately?
This idea, is for you only when you are professional photograph?
Please send me a feedback I will appreciate it a lot.
Thanks :)
2.
Hi Aphikrit,
That are my suggestion IMHO:
In the first picture:
For your first time fashion-photography you are done a great work. Gut composition, color and contrast.
Just try to eliminate the red color of the vein in the white part and also try to make a little less strong the retouch in the skin on the face and also little bite softer.
In the second picture:
Try to correct the effect of the lens with software: fish eye correction, just a little bit, in this way look more natural.
POST PHOTO THAT I DID NOT TAKE

00dSfV-558218584.thumb.jpg.fc7550f31e51ccf44312950818f052f2.jpg

 4.
The anserwer is: if your like to give some character of authenticity and model don't have any experiance with weapon that will be not really reflected in the picture or will look something just like fun. That depend what do you really like to express in the photo. Greetings..!
5.
What are the best technics to eliminate shadow?
I am planning to do one fotoshooting of fashion and I have only two backgroung: one black and another white. I have only one external flash the small one from my camera, one softbox, reflector and umbrela all with tripod.

That are some of my question, other way to do are welcome.
What can me help me more if my Background is only black or white?
Which kind of colour and texture of the chothes help me more to reduce the shadows?
Can help me more to use softbox to reduce the shadow?
How important is to increase the distance between the background and model?
Can the crome-key colours help me to eliminate better the background?
Thank for your commentaries, I will apreciate them very much.
6.
David,

I will like to improve the sharper, to improve the precision in get details. The limitation of my camera is that is building without motor and I also work in general with 50mm(also without motor), in this way many of my picture I cann't get really sharp, special if the subject move in the last moment.
In this moment I cann't buy expensive equipment, but i need to show quality in my photographic work. Also you are right that in the future I will get lighting (ie reflectors/strobes etc.).

Greeting..!

Ricardo

 7.
Hallo people,

in this moment I will like to improve my technical quality of my photographic work, in special in portreit photografy.
I have now Nikon D40X(No Motor), Objectives: 18-55mm 1/3,5-5,6 and 50mm 1/1.8(no Motor -> focus by hand). Like alternativ I am looking for one Nikon D90 or objetives Nikon micro( 1:1 ) 60mm 1/2,8 or 24-70 mm 1/2,8 Tamrom or something like this. Both of them with motor in objective.
In your opinion wich will be for me the best investition: expend I for one new camera or just buy one or two gut objective.
Ricardo

 8.
In my opinion D90 is one gut option, like the other expensive models like D300(s), D700, they share advantage technologies like: They have motor for auto focus (let you use efficient more lenses), live view, GPS extension, relative gut possibility with high ISO, more picture pro second and more area for autofocus, etc. Also D90 camera in combination with gut lenses bring you a gut quality in your picture and relative low cost. D90 already let you make videos and not so heavy.
If you get D700 is not doubt is the best camera, but you have to thing about to get new non-Dx lenses( FX lenses) and give a lot of money. This camera is perfect in situation with low condition of light (Hi ISO and better in combination with lenses with gut aperture f/ 2,8 1,8 1,4... ).
The D300 or D300S they are a robust camera with better possibilities and quality as D90, cost more but you feel really you have already a real camera, an you can use (like D90) the same lenses that you already have in your D40. Best regard..!

 9.
In my opinion some people doesn't like the way how their are, also can be the way which one photograph communicate with the people or just make clear the reason and way to be done a photo. Maybe is also the role with play in society, politic, security...the reason to avoid this. Or just to wait for the right time and situation to make the person receptive.
Ricardo

 10.
Extra to all commentaries, just try to speak direct with people in the street, if you find someone interesting just offer one TFP/TFCD shooting. That doesn't work sometime, but if you make frequently, you will get some of them.
That is not easy but it is a gut exercise to learn to speak and communicate with people..!
Ricardo

 11.
Hi Peter,
that's not your fault, nice for me will be improve still more my english.
In fact create one gut environment and give enough MOTIVATION for the people witch play a role, without them get direct money, i find it not so easy, maybe also can be my personal limitation.
I ask for some advice from people that can help me to make it easy . ???

The TFP(CD) give my the possibility to make public photos(portrait) without expend a lot of money and the people get the photos on one CD(DVD) as honorary for the work that they do for me and they can use also for e Card, web-page, internet etc.
Ricardo

Thank Jeff for your information..! I will look for get someone who wants portfolio photos.

Ricardo

 12.
In the past, my private idea to do portrait was in connexion to do portrait to someone without any special thematic.
But know i see that this it's not enough.

My question is how to inspire someone to take a role (character) just with TFP (Time for Prints)?

Ricardo
Thank you for your commentar and point of views ...!

Hello Ian about your commentary:
"Beauty is for fashion. Not related to portraits whatsoever."
Maybe i was not enought clear in my question, when i speak about "beauty", i don't mean "Beauty" take this in the oficial formal category of "Beauty"(Fashion).
In one commentary Joseph Braun ask me "Do you mean physical beauty ", that was a gut question, the quality of beauty, that i mean hier:
That is not only physical beauty, that can only be apply only for the category of fashion, it is also extended to the aesthetic value of beauty, the inside quality, that is express when you are make a photo-shooting.
Maybe you will be very interesting for you go to this forum:

http://www.photo.net/philosophy-of-photography-forum/00QdmP

That is : "Photography and Aesthetic Formalism: How Do We Find Aesthetic Value and Beauty in Photographs?", Attila Ataner, Aug 26, 2008
Best regard,

Ricardo

 14.
Again my question with a little bit less mistake:
How much importance give you to the beauty of the model, when you are taking a portrait?
I find interesting point of view of all and also the photo from Jeff Spirer is a gut example. Also accordig all of this and some question that i make myself, IMHO, the concept of "beauty" is relativ to the photograh, also the ability to discover the beauty in others and show to the subject that this beauty is there. Also Fotograf-Subject according to the situation they can play many roll to show this "beauty" according the situation.

 15.

If you are taking a portrait how much importance give you to the beauty of the model?
I will be also very interesant to see portrait, that show more of joy and personality als beauty.
Or very spontanius reaction of the people and children in from of a camera, with show other kind of beauty inside of them.

Thank you very much for your interest and commentary or pictures which you like to show are welcome.....!

Thank you Joseph and Simon for your commentary.

IMHO maybe some of the photographs, with a lot of experience , just they are speaking with the model, only the things necesary for the footoshooting without really "broken the ice", in this way they lost a lot the potential of the communication and the possibility to do really a gut artistic work, to get the right point in the way, that give satisfaction not only the photograf but also the subject of the portrait.
Maybe also in one professional photo shooting they know so well the roll that play: photograph-Subject, that the communication play one secondary roll in the case. Right..?

Also children have a big potential , can you imaging how much joy and satisfaction bring this "broken the ice" with them. I know also i am still learning, just surprise and curious which importance it is giving to this aspect.

Ricardo

 17.
If you are preparing one photo-shooting, for one sesion of portaits, and you have one fix-time for it.

Which importance are you giving to the technical preparation and which to know-about-the-subject-model-or-group which you are takeing the picture?

How important you think bring successful to your photo-shooting this knowledge about the subject?

Someone can also show me one photo example of one photo-shooting in which is clear that these connexion between the photograph and the model is there or not?

All the best, thank you for spend your time reading or commenting it or show to other photo-examples.
