Two young monks walk towards the main temple of the Drigung Monastery,

which is just east of Lhasa in Tibet.

I love the way that the setting compliments the color of her eyes and vice versa!

This is my grandmother. She grew up in Connecticut and we recently

took her back so that she could show us her old stomping ground. Here

she is looking out at the countryside on the way to the place where my

grandfather proposed to her.

I really liked the light hitting this tree, but I feel like it's

probably highly unoriginal. Comments and critiques greatly appreciated!

FANTASTIC lighting and great facial expression. I love that it's in black and white. Very classic.

A good moment and nice detail in the bear's fur. Could have used a touch of flash, but I realize this is not always practical...especially when shooting large, potentially dangerous animals. Could the midtones come up just a touch?

I wouldn't change a thing about this photo. It is a perfect exposure, perfect moment and perfect angle. Not to say that there isn't room for improvement, of course, but in this case, I feel like taking out any one element would absolutely take away from the photo itself. I particularly love the shadows cast by the people walking by.
