I'd capture them up close (very), as how I recall seeing them when I hug them so tight as a child.
But I'm not sure how the picture will look like though ;-)

Nice flower.
Though I do agree that the leaves seems to be in better focus, and (to me) the light background is a bit distracting.
You could try Kathleen's suggestion, or perhaps, take a closeup of the flower in the frame. Yeah, actually, take from many angles ;-) Looks like I'm just repeating what others have said. But I DO like the shot. Thanks.
