1.
Thanks a lot folks.
I mainly shoot with M9 right now but I do miss film. I wanted to as little money as I can to use my existing lens.
Interesting thing someone told over the other night, M2 or M3 would be cheaper at initially but fixing it over time would cost more in comparison to getting a M6. For M2 or M3 owners, do you think its true?

  2.
I have xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. How much would you price these items?
Moderator's note: Do not repeatedly "ask about the value" of the same lenses on this forum. Check eBay completed auctions or KEH used prices to find an approximate value. If you want to sell them, use the photo.net classified section.

  3.
I have 35mm 1.4 ASPH and 50mm 1.4 non-ASPH but I have been itching to get a 50mm f1.0. Is it worth it to get 50mm f1.0 and sell both of my 35 and 50? If so how much do you think I could get? I have always shoot using daylight but I want to do more darker shooting at night but either lenses doesnt seem adequate. I havent done any high film speed then 400...

This is what I have.
35mm f1.4 ASPH Serial 371XXXX no box or hood and just go it CLA by Leica (with little scuff marks and wear).
50mm f1.4 Serial 390XXXX box, leather case, etc (looks brand new and works flawless).

Think I can get a 50mm f1.0 with these?

  4.
I am a hobbyist just shooting random maybe 1-2 rolls a month. And consider
I did consider Epson V700 but I keep reading that it maybe ideal for med format but not for 35mm. But I think most of the folks in here who scan film are doing prints but I only do online display only so I really dont see the need for high end. There is another factor of color and how software it comes with interprets it.
I recently used Nikon coolscan V but wasnt really impressed with it. Your question of PlusTek 7200 vs Epson V700 / V500 is valid. Most seems to be one or the either but have not seem clear compatibility.
Alternatively, a member suggested ScanCafe http://www.scancafe.com/ but only downside is that you dont get the control over the actual scans. Seems reasonable, $0.25-0.29 per 35mm scan and $0.99 for med format.. I may try it to see.. I wished they did developing also but that may have its down side also..

  5. Anyone carry or have used cleaning pens? I want to get one but not sure which wont do more harm. I have asked the

stores and they all say the same thing; they are all good.

    Anyone?

  6. I am asking primary because I did a test shot using both and for the life of me I could not see a big difference.

Funny enough, 35mm 'lux ASPH doesnt seem to perform well as 50mm pre-ASPH (sharpness and bokeh). I have sent that lens in for

servicing wondering if there is something wrong with the lens.

  7. I am not sure if this is an usual issue but I have not encountered this before

When I load in the film, I turn the quick winder it moves but not to zero and I can press the shutter release.

After that the electronics ceases to function with nothing in the view finder. At that point, I cant turn the

quick winder nor shutter press. I tried turning camera on and off but nothing.

I can only make it after I take out the battery (which i just replaced) and put them back in. It starts to work

    again.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you
