At first I want to thank you for all your comments.
My intention on shooting this series was to create dynamic photos using the universal rules of diagonal placed elements.
On this pictures I used a combination of a strong blured layer multiplied with the original photo, that was lightly sharpened in the background layer, to give some kind of speed to the picture. The shutter speed of the original photo was a little too fast to give a natural blurring to the photo (see 1st picture of my B&W folder).
To get a natural blurring with sharpen details I would have to use a grey filter and flash light - but no flash light is strong enough to lighten the whole area including the background objects.
This combination of different blurred and sharpened layers can give your photos some kind of 3D effect.
In 1979 when I shot this photo I had my own dark room and experimented a lot with different techniques - Hard paper, soft paper, expose a hard developed photo on a soft paper ...
This time no one had a PC to enforce photos. We often used 2 Dias in one frame to combine interesting, unusual photos.

Like it - would be a great poster.

Well done place of the tree...
-
Phantastic lights. Did she smile as I did watching this photo? Good cutted...
-
Like the kind and spot you placed the sharpeness.
-
Dramatic scene. What a pity that you placed all components horizon and the vertical main theme ( man ) to middle.
I would prefer the vehicle running from the left page to an empty right one.

Thanks for this information - This may explain the grid on the picture.
-
Thank you David - I never found any better and more inspiring comment on photo.net.

Sorry -
You are totaly besides...

Wonderful one

Great mixture of exhibitionism and peeping Tom.
Like this one very much. Have you ever thought cutting the photo to the 4 glasses with the model?
-
Very erotic impression -+- Like this picture very much -+- Weird scenery some dark aspects of an execution - but the body posture is perhaps too relaxed for such a frightful thing.
I would perhaps prefer a vertical orientated fluorescent tube behind the slot? -
Unbelievable scene - Painted cry & Real-live cry - the rainbow as connection - the contrast in theme and light realization! The scene seems to be behind glas. One of the best I ever saw on photo.net - Thanks to to share it!
WOW!

I took a long view at the picture to find out what is fascinating me the most - Well I think it must be the many pairs in their different kind:
2 Windows - 2 Rings - 2 Blocks - 2 Persons - 2 Shoes - 2 Stripes in the floor
Your B&W folder makes me hungry for more like that! -
If you would cut about a quarter from the top the eye would be fascinated much more. Like that shot!

got it!
I did some corrections to the 2 nice photos - You can see them following the links
Homage...
Keep on...
Go on this way more seriously... I will be a great fan of your works... :-) -
Give your phantasy a chance.
Maybe a silver nozzle, a table tennisball, a plastic cup, a fried egg, a saucerful of secrets, a burnt spot in the negative - or even nothing...( Klick here )
I think the question is in reality not the kind of this little object of displeasure but what it can give to this threateningly rain expecting mundane (in the sinn of photography) scenery.
Watch the contrast of texture between the sky and the ground.
Enjoy the little green complementary horizontal strip of meadow that has no chance to reach the round warm colored funny ball touching the horizon.
Personally me loves the true highlight in this scenary the sharp, wet, diagonal cutting ( but not going to the center of the photo ) pipeline.
Think I like for the most part the composition in its contrasts of soft/sharp - surfacings/lines - cold/warm colors. -
All my Leica M6 pictures were taken without any but an UV-Filter.
This camera is very difficult and too slow to handle (especially doing portraits) with a polarizing filter. Think you know the M6 it not a reflex-camera where you see the results of any filters through the viewer.

Wonderful - You perfectly managed the right moment.

Wow! 5 to zero? The composition is clever. How did you manage all members to such a face impression?
