    While I totally agree with Shawn's observation that sometimes, you get what you get when you're given it (this was the only time I was able to get this shot), I also had the same reaction as Mike. After coming home and looking at the photos, I realized that a polarizer would have probably helped take some of the glare out of the situation and maybe even help with a bit of color saturation. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, eh! Will try and keep that in my thought process in the future!

    Taken at the July 2002 World Superbike / AMA Superbike races at

    Laguna Seca, California. Photo was taken handheld with a Canon EOS

    D30, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L and a 1.4x teleconverter while balancing on

    a tipped over trash can to shoot over a fence.
