    I like the T that's formed when the pier branches out. The birds give a nice sense of horizontal movement which works well with the vertical lines of the pier. I think the image would be even stronger if, as you say, you cropped a couple of inches from the bottom of the image. Good shot overall!

    This is a lovely and serene image, very well composed. Reminds me of Oedipus and the three roads. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to somehow get the car out of the photo :)

    Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Linden. This photo was taken at a National Wildlife Refuge in Maui, Hawaii and unfortunately, the waters had dried up beyond the point where you see a little stick popping into the picture from the bottom (long dry spell, I guess). I couldn't really figure out how to change the composition w/o getting the stick and the dry land in the picture, which I was trying to avoid...
