Recently i started experimenting with using softfilters in the darkroom. Instead of using one while taking the picture, i use one during enlarging,You can even adjust the maount of softing by changing the distance to the lense. The results are i.m.o. much nicer and less obvious. For sure it is worth a try, and if you slightly move the filters during exposure, the amount of fogging is almost gone.

Tamrac has proven to me to be of very good quality. During a sailing trip , it contained my 35mm F4 + F5, although it was raining cats and dogs, the contents of the bag remained dry. I also use this for my P67 II and is very comfortable.
-
Unfortunately i do not own the 90mm LS, but if you put the lens on a P67 II, with the f-stop indication in the viewfinder, a cheap pentax modification, you can see the value. I've not noticed this dot on any of my lenses, but will check soon.
-
For my understanding , is it the model 6x7 or p67 II??? Major difference with respect to this subject is changing of groundglass.
Groundglass in 6x7 needs to be adjusted very carefully, while on P67 II groundglass is swappable. Besides this the position of the filmpressure plate could influence as well.(120/220) position.

i've tested the P67 II with ae prism with all metering modes with a lineair and circulair polariser. The difference in the resulting slides are so lottile, that i presume that it was the setting of the polariser that caused this. In my opinion you can use lineair.
Try it with a film and you know for yourself. I use B&W top-pol, circ pol and Kaesemann in different sizes.
-
Last week i've done a test with the P67 II with several different measuring modes(spot, integral and multi segment) with slide material. The result is : You can also use a lineair pola filter.
I have the B&W top pol and kaesemann fulters, and appreciate them very much. Supporting rings are rather thick.
-
I received 5 sample films and used one last week. It is beautiful, no
exaggeration of subtile colors. I would buy and use them in future
without any doubt.
-
Guys,
i've red the question and answers and have something to add : Olympus
already advised many years ago to use the circulair pola for usage
with OM2N, at that time there was no autofocus yet. What i will do is
make two slides with both pola filters on a 55 mm lens and let you
know the results in a week or two. My feeling says that i need the
circulair for the matrix metering mode.

I would suggest a MF camera like a Horseman 985 with 3 lenses.
This is a view camera with the possibility of Macro. Also the quality of the lenses should not be a problem, with a reasonable price.

Is there someone that has a copy of the user manual for this product.
I own it but do not understand how the automatic measuring and
exposure facility should be used. This head is used on a Durst L900
enlarger.

Brian,
i had the same problem with Multiblitz cables. The problem could be 2 things :
1. the socket on the camera or the connector on the cable.
Careful inspection learned me that the pin in the connector of the cable is being delivered in varying thickness.
I decided to buy a small device called kepkor that is equipped with a thick pin in the connector and that releases my studio flashes wireless. I never had this with my previous 6x7. Strange thing is that with the 165 LS lens id did not have this problem, by inserting the connector in the lens instead of the body. I fear that the tolerance of the connectors on the cable is causing the trouble.
try to compare several cables and see if you can detect the one with the largest pin in the connector. I know how you feel. I lost some good shots this way.

Last week i've done a lot of portraits with the 165 4.0LS, and the week before some landscapes in Italie. I regret now that i did not use this lens so much before. It is incredible sharp. The 150 2.8 is definitely of less quality.

At this moment there is a special offer for Fl. 3995,- excluding 17.5%VAT in the Netherlands for the TTL-II prism + 67 II body.
Do not know the price of the 105 2.4 by heart. Should be around 1200 pounds sterling.
-
One of the major additional advantages of the new P67 II is the
brightness of the focusing screen. It really differs a lot with the
previous series.
The price of the new TTL prism in the Netherlands i payed is US $ 625.
In comparison with the previous P67 the handhelding also improved a
lot. After 10 rolls of film in a month i'm still very pleased with
this owesome machine.

i have used the P67-II now for three weeks and just love it. The
mirror is still noisy but the shutter vibrations have been eliminated.
Also the focusing screen is ajoy for the eye. My compliments to the
Pentax designers!!! and best wishes for X-mas and new year to
everybody.
-
there exist 3 Pentax original adapters
1.Pentax 67 lenses on 645 body
2. Pentax 67 lenses on Pentax K-bajonet body
3. Pentax 645 lenses on Pentax K-bajonet body.
I own 1 and 2. The diaphragm is closed automatically on version 1 and
has to be stopped down in version 2.
The focal length remains the same, so a 105mm standard lens from 67
becomes portrait on Pentax K. Since only the center of the lens is in
use this way, the results are pretty good.

It is available now in the Netherlands for body $1900,
prisma ttl II for $735,-
-
I just want to inform you that the P67 II is available in some shops
in the Netherlands. Prices are :Body $1900, new TTL prism : $685,
including VAT.
The mirror is still producing noise but with mirror lock-up in use,
the shutter vibrations have almost been eliminated. Also the focusing
screen is much brighter. I had the opportunity to compare the two
side by side.

Very good lens, but not suitable for portraits. I tried to make a
portrait with this lens, but if your model wears contact lenses, you
can see them in the final result. This lens is increadably sharp !!!

Zoerkendorfer from Munich in Germany can help you. But i fear only 67
lens on Mamiya 645, because you would not be able to focus on
infinity otherwise anymore.See their web-site.

May i suggest you to buy the book :The Hasselblad Manual by Ernst
Wildi, it contains a wealth of information.

I've read an interview with a person from a repair company that is
going to retire on short terms. The only remedy for fungus is to
clean them and use some of the fluids of your mouth to really remove
the fungus. clean again , assemble ... et voila.........

There is a small screw-adapter available that can be screwed on the
cable release and that fits exactly in the hole on the mounting plate
of the lens. I owned one when i had my Horseman 985.
