Hi Nick,
I am in the same boat as you and I think the same city based on one of your previous comments. Try the Museum of
Fine Arts Studio School. They have film and digital offerings, during the day and at night. I have taken the film-based
classes there and liked them. Now I am looking into the digital classes. Here is the link to their class listing:

J. Sargeant Reynolds also has some classes but it may be too late to get in for this semester. Unfortunately, VCU's
program is not easy to get into unless you are a full time student.
Let me know what you think of the NYIP program if you decide to do it. I think I am going the VMFA route,
supplementing with books and tutorials. Good luck!

I am a beginner trying to delve deep into the world of digital photography. I am planning to invest in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and found that
they have many versions out there - CS3, CS3 extended, the CS creative suite, etc. I understand that the software is highly complex and
will take me a long time to master. I also understand that the extended and suite versions have a lot of graphic stuff in them that I may
not use for a long time. My ultimate goal is to have my own photography business. Does anyone have any advice on how far to go with
my investment into the Adobe product? I am not sure how useful the graphic stuff is if you are not a designer, but I don't want to end up
paying more ultimately by buying them individually later. Thanks for your help.

Thank you everyone, for your advice. Many responses mentioned Lightroom. I work in the Apple platform and have Aperture
2. Is that comparable to Lightroom?
