i am going to buy canon 450D soon i am buying with kit lens 18-55 is for general to wide angle angle use we cant say
good wide angle but we can consider an average, later i will buy good wide angle one. after that i need to buy
telephoto zoom lens also. i am considering two lens first canon 55-250 IS and second sigma APO 70-300 i have read
good reviews of 70-300 APO and for 55-250 as well. i need to cover some range for wild life and some bird
photography. i know 300 mm is not enough for either use but we have to consider our budget also some time and as
a novice i must learn which range suits me well. canon 75-300 is there but i got negative reviews for that. canon 70-
300 IS also there but out of budget. in future i will sure buy like sigma 150-500 or something. but at this moment i
have these two options. it is quiet obvious that 55-250 will not give me range like sigma 300 but i want to know how
much difference we can see in 250 mm and 300 mm ? any more suggestions will be appreciated.
thanks.

after a long research and my requirements i have segregated two models for me which suits me all the way price and
performance as a beginner.
CANON 450D AND NIKON D80.
i am too much confused which one to choose D80 is semi pro and 450D is entry level but in some point better then
d80 like cmos sensor 3" LCD dust reduction, live view and digic III sensor. it is really hard to decide which one to go
for. i really need some good advise to decide which one to buy and why ? i also need good suggestions for lenses
also. i want to buy two lens one is telephoto and second is wide angle. but keep in mind at this moment i cant afford
too much costly lens at all. wildlife landscapes and nature photography are my area for photos.
thanks.

considered all four in my budget also. kindly guide me which two lens are best buy for me. my requirement is

i am going to buy canon 450D soon. i want to know whether to choose 18-55 kit lens or change it to 50mm f1.8.
second i also need good telephoto. i have two options first canon 75-300 or sigma 70-300 apo. kindly guide me to
decide my photography area will be birds, wildlife, landscape and macro. i would like to add here that i am also
beginer in Dslr photography. and i know some good 100-400 and other lens but i can afford all those at this moment,
and i believe its not worth till you don't know how to use flash and its f-stops and other things.
sigma lens with sigma teleconverter ?
in Beginner Questions

i have bought canon 450D before few days with kit lens. 18-55 that is enough for general photo. for long distance like
wild life or bird photography i need good long tele lens. first of all i cant afford high prices lenses, Canon 75-300 is not
good option because of its bad result and canon 70-300 is too costly. so i have turn back to sigma 70-300 APO DG
MACRO F4.5/5.6, and apart from that i am thinking to buy 2x converter from sigma APO. this will give as per my
calculation 960 mm i will get. ( 300 x 1.6 focal length x 2 ).
can somebody guide me is this combination fine for wildlife and bird photography ? any other suggestions will be
appreciated.
