Hi Graham,
What system would you recommend for jewelry/closeup work? Any lenses in particular.
Visited your website, great work. Love your setup on the "about" page. Shows to those people who think shooting is but a button click. :)
For your fashion work, you use medium format generally I guess? Products, view camera?
thanks!

Hi again everybody. Thanks for your answers.
I will be looking into Digital as a good proportion of my work is catalogue photography, and really, time is money as I've quickly learned ;)
Wow, there's several different solutions to this I see. The problem with large format, I'm worried about the "digital portion".... there aren't any "real digital backs" that fit it properly (and if it did, wouldn't it cost us a couple arms + legs?).
Again thanks for your feedback, please let me know if anything else comes to mind, etc.

Hi,
I'm currently using a Canon 5D alongside a 90mm TS/E lens, and extension tubes
for jewelry photography. I'm getting great results and have been published
throughout the continent, but I'm being asked more often than ever now for
large enlargments for in-store lightboxes where clients are within a few feet
of the image. The 5D is showing its limits with respect to that.
I've been now looking into what sort of investment should I look into within
the MF world of Hasselblad, etc. DOF is quite important (hence why I use the
tilt shift lens).
Bottom line is, what can match my Canon system best?
I've attached a sample image, there is very little cropping done.
Thanks for your help!

Hi to you all,
So rumors are reality concerning the EOS 1Ds
(http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,528206,00.asp), and I was then
asking myself, when do you think higher capacity microdrives will
start hitting the market? With all the doubling of raw images,
we're starting to get famished with memory!
Please share if you know... Thanks!
What MF outfit to emulate my Canon gear?

Hi Ellis,
Wow, again, more options and possible solutions. I will be awaiting the 1Ds Mrk III's release and hope that there will be some good reviews/comparissons to MF (inevitably, there will be).
Thanks for explaining the 4-shot/16-shot modes. Never knew what that was.
It's just I find when printing to 3'x4' and above, detail is lost. When comparing to some ads, especially watches, even from < 1', the image is pretty crisp. Wonder what people typically use for those ads.
Thanks again!!!
