The rear of a small restaurant on the edge of Chinatown. Kitchen open
to public (obviously!). Decided sepia was the only way to go for this
shot. Hungry?

Took this one about a year ago in the North Beach section of San
Francisco. Figured it would be a throw away the moment I snapped it.
I had no idea what I had captured until I got it home and onto the
computer. On second thought, maybe I should have thrown it away!

The caption says it all. I'm kidding. Ignore the title. It means
nothing. I don't know. A post-apocalyptic vision of San Francisco?
Or just another day at 5pm rush hour? What do you think? I shot it
from the top of that really tall hotel downtown. The one with the bar
on the top floor.

I was going for a gritty, noirish look here. I wanted to suggest
either something tragic or shady is going on beyond the scope of the
shot. As it turns out it's pretty ordinary. For San Francisco, that
is.

This one's about a year old and it's become one of my very favorites.
Would like some honest feedback.

I see this as sort of a creepy optical illusion. Any comments?
