Great shape, angle and composition. Great choice of focal length. Nice color/contrast treatment too.
Just one thing: couldn't you reduce the color noise ? (So that we can better enjoy the smooth surfaces, which contrast with sharp lines...)
In my experience (with Lightroom), while it is very tricky to reduce luminance noise without destroying the picture, it is, on the other hand, very easy to kill color noise without affecting anything else. I think it would really be worth it here.
Keep it up !

Nice shot and composition, about a subject many of us would have walked passed without noticing !
One question: is there HDR in there ?
-
WAW !!!
-
-
Very imposing composition !
(I'm not sure if photoshoping the people out would make this photo (even) better, but if it were me i would try ;-))
-
My first shot at photographing strangers. So what do you think ?
-
I like that.

Hey, nice wildlife capture.
It seems noise reduction smoothed out details in the feathers. You may want to shoot raw, so that the camera doesn't apply automatic noise reduction to your image (or disable NR if you still prefer to shoot JPG).
Also, there seem to be some color fringing on the sides (see the branches): did you use a zoom ? Anyway that can be easily corrected in post-processing (for example, see "color aberration" in the "lens correction" section of Lightroom).
(Of course, I don't know that you used noise reduction or a zoom... it's just my amateur's first impression)
Keep up the good work !

Incredible detail and textures, both sharp and dreamlike. I want to touch that spider ! just to decide wether its soft or spikey :-)
Honestly, though I appreciate your work in general, i'm not so much into insect macro. Even when wonderfully mastered as yours, i often tend to find such work a bit boring... But THIS I have never seen before, and I can't take my eyes off it !
That's a 10/10 (or a 7/7 ;-)) !

What a beautiful waterpainting !

Impressive portfolio !

Very soothing. definitely my kind of stuff...
(I also like all your B&W pictures with the soft-highlights filter)

Waw. I can't tell the original from a possible treatment. Pretty nice, flat effect. Very close to an abstract painting ! (the kind I like)
The lighting's contrast on the upper part of the back wall feels a bit more photographic, so I like it less, but that's a minor concern...
-
Disconcerting composition, I like it.
The color treatment fits that incredible texture very well...
-
Like they say. Excellent picture and perfect treatment !
-
Well done.
How about smoothing out the ripples on the floor ?
-
Yes, really great tones ! And the large depth of field allows a great combination of razorsharp textures, between the wall, the chair, the different kinds of fabric, ...
Would it have been possible to counter vignetting, tough ? I'd be curious to see how it would look then... (is it really vignetting or a choice of lighting?)
-
Quite nice subject and composition. Great texture !
However the monochrome outlook combined with that huge depth of field prevents the subject from detaching itself enough from the background, creating such a uniform richness of detail over the whole frame that the photo feels a bit like an indiscriminate fuzz...
Just my amateur's opinion tough...
-
Nice texture and colors ! That simultaneously sharp and washed-out 'print' fits the season very well in general, and that ambiguous weather in particular.
Maybe a little dark for my taste: not sure i like the vignetting and black borders (but that's only personal) ...Though it may contribute to the overall 'painting' effect.
Btw, is it a physically mixed job (like photo + painting), or a Photoshop job ?
-
Now I guess I see it ;-)

I love when an artist's walks the ambiguous line between reality and abstraction, as Barry clearly (and brilliantly) does here !
