Lens zoom stuck in Canon EOS Mount Posted August 24, 2008 My 1.5 year old Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 17-85 mm USM is stuck at the 17 mm zoom level. The zoom ring is arrested similarly to a telelens where the zoom can be locked. However, as much as I know, this lens does not have a zoom lock. The camera was not bumped or dropped, this occurred out of the blue. Any advise or do I need to send the lens back to Cannon for repair? Hasso
