  1. I like this image quite a bit (I'm generally a sucker for old farm buildings, barns, and mills). Although the plume itself is the focal point of the photo, my favorite portion is the building behind it. There is good light falloff from the left to the right on the roof and sides. The whole image looks historical and nostalgic. Perhaps tweaking some of the green out of the grass and foliage will give it a better sepia tone (thus completing the "historical" look), but overall the image is superb. Nice job!

    I appreciate all of the great feedback and input, thanks! As for the cropping, I had to make it a bit tight since there are trees very near the periphery of the Taj which makes it a bit distracting visually. Cheers, Jeff

    This is the classic frontal view of the Taj, which isn't white anymore but

    rather an ecru/faint yellow color. Due to the flat light from the overcast

    sky, I made midtone contast curve adjustments to get better definition

    and depth.
