I'd like to ask Jeff how brutal he had to be to access the inside of the glass? I've removed the screws and unplugged the printed circuit cable and gingerly levered the hinge assemblies. I want to feel more confident that I'm not going to hear a loud cracking of plastic if I apply more force. Is there a trick?
As for glass cleaning, I use well-diluted dish washing detergent and tissues. I finish the job with something sold in the UK as an "e-cloth". I think that's the micropore fabric refered to by others. It's magic!
