It's a great capture Marsel, I'm just wondering, if it was set up beforehand, how did you know that the lion was exactly in the frame to expose it? -
What strikes me of your photos is that the animals stand out from a very even, uncluttered background and many of them have very good action captured. -
I think what makes this shot so strong, is the simplicity, the graphic lines in the foreground and clouds draw one's eye towards the centre of interest, namely the house and windmill. I think the shot could have been improved slightly with a stronger foreground (2/3), but nevertheless a top photo. -
What I like most, as with any photograph, is that it must strike attention first. Then on further inspection, what I like a lot from this photo is the simplicity, all attention is drawn to the face through the almost monochrome effect of the hair and coat. Congratulations 6/7.
