If I sell the cd of images I include a letter that states that I use professional printing labs and that my prints are of the highest quality, however I take no responsibility for the quality of printing done from the CD as I have no control over the printing process. I make sure the client is aware of this, I also include a few prints with digital packages so the client can see the quality.

The best thing to do is brainstorm, I have come up with so many ideas. One that has worked really well for me is to get into some online forums where (in your case) brides go and offer them some great deals to entice them to your business.

Im not sure if this helps Josh, but I have two names and they both come in handy. I started out as Photos by Shell; doing beach portraits and annual sporting photos. I am currently opening a studio which will be Pink Ink Photography, I am hoping to specialize in "boudoir/glamour" photography in the studio, but will continue the sporting/outdoor photography under the Photos by Shell banner, as people know me by this. I am currently looking for a wedding/event photographer who will work for me from the studio, whereby the Pink Ink Photography name will work well. I'm not sure if I will eventually keep one over the other, but in photography I have found that you never quite know where the next job will take you.

Go to redbubble.com it's an awesome community for photographers. If you are a member and upload your photos onto a calendar you can purchase one for around $20AUD. My redbubble is here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/batgirl I have put together a calendar of my favourite images that you can check out what you can do.

I have a lady who has asked me to take a photo of her for the back cover of a book she is in the process of having published. I'm not sure
how much to charge her. I usually charge $150 to $185 for a family portrait session, but I'm not sure what to charge for this. I will probably
take 20ish photos in a variety of poses.

I would get another couple of photographers to assist in the evening and charge accordingly.I would also make the CD
images very low resolution so that they can only be reproduced to a size big enough for use in their magazine. Let her
know that all photos are available for individual purchase from you after the event. Sorry but I'm not sure what you should
charge though....
What to charge? Wine bottle shoot.
