  1. Wow, I really like this.

I like the duality of their expressions -- you can just tell what the younger brother thinks of his elder brother by his face.

I also appreciate the gritty style, and the fact that you chose black and white.

The only gripe I can summon is that I vacillate between liking and being distracted by the placement of them both within the frame. I think that's a subjective call, though.

The colors really jumped out, even from a small icon. Beautiful.

The selective blurring also adds a nice effect. Very ethereal.

Very colorful -- caught my eye right away from its thumbnail image, but perhaps a bit too artificial.

I find the line of gradation between pink and purple to be kind of harsh and distracting.

  2. Lovely pastel colors in the sky.

I find the building/attendant stream of light along the grass to be a bit distracting. They might've been better in full silhouette, where the sunset could be showcased more.

    Great lenticular cloud capture.

I actually kind of like the center farm. It helps my eye to be led in a vertical path, and shows the scale of distance from the camera to the mountain. Hills alone might've been misleading.

    Different; I like this.

The use of a wide aperture almost makes the background appear as if it's covered in a hazy mist. Very fitting to the setting.

A bit dark, but I quite like that.

Great setting, and contrast of textures (soft, billowy clouds, and textured, jagged rock).

Any comments, or suggestions to improve would be greatly appreciated.

This is my first experimentation with "camera-tossing" and long

exposures, and it has definitely revived my interest in photography.
