Gentoo are the fastest swimmers out of the penguin species. Even in
the enclosure at the Melbourne Aquarium they were a challenge to
photograph.

This male Gang Gang Cockatoo was enjoying a feed of wattle seeds in
my backyard at Tidal River in Wilsons Promontory National Park. I
photograhed him with Agfachrome 100 with my Minolta X500 and a
Tamron SP 300mm f2.8 lens.

I prefered this image as a split toned B&W image. Originally taken in
colour.

Damselflies when viewed face to face remind me of aliens from
outerspace.

This bird of prey (a black shouldered kite) was hovering as it looked
for its prey usually small mammals, reptiles and insects.
