A captivating, telling image.

This is a remarkably elegant photo. Astonished to see it rated at fours and fives, but not surprised - the masses at photo.net miss the mark with painful regularity.
Nice work. High marks on both A and O.

Saw your delemna with your scanner. Since I clean up a lot of photos submitted to our newspaper by the commmunity, often trashed by local labs, I kind of have a nack, I guess. IS this the kind of tonal quality your were looking to achieve?

This image has a nice, delicate edge to it.

Once again a good image made with weak hardware has proved that it's not the camera, but the eye behind it that makes photographs. I laughed out loud when I first saw this; it was a combination of seeing that cat staring at us with suspicion, and the interplay between the roof and sky. I like it. I feel jealous, though, because in my corner of the planet, Oklahoma, USA, all the roofs are slanted shingles, and you can't get on them.

Carr has made the kind of image that I like to shoot just for fun, to get away from the usual things I shoot like news and sports. I find shooting this kind of thing very relaxing and amusing. When I see material like this posted, it often elicits a chain of ideas that can lead me down new creative paths. I like it.
Painted for a race?

I have to say that as tired as I am of the abuse of HDR, this image definitely breaks out of that mold. This is one of my favorite HDR images to date. Nice work.
