Thanks everyone for the info. I know what I should do now.

I understand the advantage when it comes to post processing. But I don't have enough funds for a higher end computer that could process raw. Even with 3MB jpeg, the time I spend on the image could amount up to 1/2 hour. (yea, that's how bad my current pc is) So until I get enough funds for a higher end pc, I'm stuck with jpeg.

Thanks Ronald. When I choose the 'edit with photoshop elements' option, there would be a duplicated file in tiff format with my adjustment from LR. So I guess this is the best way to minimize compression/lost of detail?

Hi there, I'm wondering if there is any way to edit an image without losing much detail? I use lightroom and
photoshop elements, shoot in jpeg with a D90. I use lightroom to enhance to image and elements to make the
digital frames. I know of the process whereby after finish editing in lightroom, you can choose the 'edit in
photoshop elements option'. Will the image lose some information/detail if I do that?

Well, I wouldn't be surprise if Nikon gets bad opinions about the new D90 over here.
This is on a Canon forum for goodness sake. (no hard feelings)
Honestly, as long as the D-movie does not affect the quality of the photo or the shutter or simply anything that has to do with still images (the main purpose for DSLR), I'm ok with it.
Getting something is better than nothing.
Just my opinion.

I've been asking around for the price on 450D. But I of the shop owner told me that the 450D has some error? He
said it was the a manufacturer fault and the 1000D is to replace the 450D. Is it true? Because I've read around
and the 450D got quite a review. So I'm not sure about this error thing. Anyone has any ideas?

Good idea Kent. Thanks everyone for the info. I have a rough idea of what to do now.

Hello. I'm planning to get D80 my first DSLR. But I heard that Nikon is going to/had stopped the production
because it's successor will be announced and launched soon. So I'm wondering would it be worth it to get the D80?

I see. Thanks for the info.

Well, I'm new to DSLR but my friend who is quite experienced says that D80's colours are not that natural. Is there any truth to that?

Hi Jeff, when I saw your work, I knew that you're the guy I'm looking for because after reading your blog posts I realised how similar our thoughts are.
I have one question. Do you look for good lighting first and wait for something to happen or do you move around looking for an image?
